MTTA ~ The Voice of the Montana Towing Industry

The Montana Tow Truck Association, Ltd. (MTTA), is a nonprofit organization formed to protect and promote the welfare of those engaged in the towing and recovery business and aid in ensuring the safety of the public in Montana. Its goals are to educate members and the public, promote professional and quality towing services to provide a more favorable image of the towing industry for the public, and unite towers working for the common good of the towing industry.

On the officers page you will find the officers of the association listed with contact information. The board members can be found here and the members are listed by name and by town. Associate members are listed here. MTTA board members meet monthly on the second Ron Hendrickson's son, 2002 ConventionThursday of the month in Helena at the AAA building or via phone conference, both of which offer all members the opportunity to get together to address and work toward resolving the problems of the towing industry in Montana.

Our legislation section provides current information on laws, bills, and issues pertinent to the towing industry when the legistlature is in session. The MTTA works with MTTA's good friend and lobbyist Bob Gilbert to provide essential and timely information to the membership. And Tom McGree is available to provide answers to your questions and attend to your insurance needs.

Don't miss MTTA's annual tow truck convention. You'll want to check out the vendor displays, take a training class, and enjoy the opportunity to see old friends and meet other fellow towers.

Check the Flagging Classes, Hazardous Material Classes, and Tow Operator Training pages for training classes. MTTA has sponsored classes for light and heavy-duty training, flagging, and hazardous materials at convention time and on other dates throughout the year.

Visit MTTA's Hall of Fame page to read about those towers who have been honored for their commitment to and support of MTTA beginning with Milo Casagrande (Milo's Towing, Butte) in 2001. Check the news bulletins section for announcements and important news. The "Too Soon Gone" section is for remembering those in the Montana towing industry who have rounded the last bend before us.

Check out the MTTA forum and engage in discussion with towers in Montana and elsewhere. (Please note that this link takes you off-site.) Visit the cones, fusees, and clothing sections for your various towing needs. There's a section for stuff that's handy to know and didn't fit elsewhere. And there's a humor section when you need a laugh for the day or a joke to share with someone else.

Click on advertising to see what's for sale or to place an ad on the photo ads page. View photos of tow trucks, at work and at rest, and other photos in the photo gallery. Click on the weather page to check the weather info and there's a handy mileage chart here for distance and mileage charts for Montana. You'll find useful links for towers in the Links section. And MTTA invites you to join MTTA as a member or an associate to help educate, support, and improve the image of the towing industry in Montana.
